The Interior.
The home by itself is a 1900 sq. ft, 3 bedroom/ 2.25 bath split level built in 1975. The floorplan is very open and the layout of the space is very comfortable and functional. The house works well and is very open from one end to the other. The bedrooms are located on the top floor. They are of average size with a large full bath central to all of them. On the second floor are the living room, dining room, kitchen and sunroom. The Kitchen is newly remodeled. We put in new granite tile counters with custom wood trim, new hardwood floor, new appliances and lighting fixtures. The Sunroom is our favorite room in the house. It is bright and sunny all day long. Our houseplants (and us) love the skylights overhead. This is a nice transition room from the “upstairs” to the “fortress”. On the lower floor is the large sunken Den, a ½ bath/ utility room and a full 2 car garage. The Den is a nice casual area that comes equipped with a big screen TV, surround sound system, and custom built desk for that room. We currently use it as a movie and exercise room. The ½ bath was recently updated with a new vinyl floor, lighting and energy efficient washer and dryer. There is a secret kids entrance to the fortress thru this bathroom. The garage can hold 2 large vehicles (we have a Toyota Tacoma Pickup) and has ample storage and workspace. There is a manhole entrance to the fortress thru the floor and access to the sideyard.
